Jami McDaniel
Has First Book Published
It’s hard to keep a secret – especially from a vivacious, inquisitive teenager. But it happened.
Jami McDaniel loves to write. In fact she has been writing for years, expressing her love for words and ideas and releasing her boundless creativity.
Big deal? Scores of people have been doing the same thing for centuries so why the excitement?
Jami is only 16!
This Wawasee High School sophomore has scads of pages filled with poetry, adventure stories, dreams, and personal thoughts. She not only thinks about writing – she writes – and saves her what she has written.
Self discipline and a strong work ethic is evident to those who know Jami McDaniel. It is it not unrewarded.
Her parents, John and Sheri McDaniel, believed in her talent and have encouraged her to pursue her interest in writing. It was her dad who acted on the idea of a special gift for Jami’s sixteenth birthday.
John McDaniel’s creativity was evident when he called Baker Trittin Press, a Winona Lake, Indiana publisher. “My daughter has written a book, and I’d like to talk with someone about having it published for her 16th birthday.”
“About 20,” was his response when asked how many copies he was interested in.
